Tun Fuad Stephens

Kota Kinabalu

Taman Tun Fuad Stephens is a recreational park at Bukit Padang, an urban township about 5km east of KK City Center most easily accessible by Jalan Kolam through Lintas Highway. Named after Sabah's first chief minister who died in a plane crash, the park is a favourite exercise ground of locals in morning and evening.

Situated on the park is a picturesque lake that hosts several floating restaurants including Kampung Nelayan, a seafood joint with daily cultural performance catering for tourist groups. In the background, a hilly ridge draped by secondary forest provides a secondary jogging track, leading up to its 140 meter high summit that overlooks the west coast and KK City.
